I thought it fitting to return here on the annual commemoration of the day you entered this reality. As for me, I've been in & out of hospitals & institutions, and am now bedbound, homebound, desperately in need of help and care.  Haven't been able to pursue my nature photography or scan in old work to create any new deviations; I hope to someday; with any luck DA and my page will still be here. I miss interaction with caring friends here.  I wish you all the very best that this life can bring you. A toast to Brian, wherever you are:  Happy Birthday, Love! :cake:

Hello all, It's been nearly a year since my last entry, the announcement about Brian's Art Show.  The opening went very well.  After an initial ceremony and viewing period, there was a reception with food and a continuous slide show of over 100 of Brian's works.  The pieces which were enlarged and framed were reproduced beautifully.  A silent auction was held at the end, and most of Brian's prints were sold.  It was an excellent event; I wish B's friends could have been there--you would have enjoyed it--and so would he...I like to think he was there... Over time I've become increasingly ill, and I'm now facing the need to move, as my landlo

Saw something that made me think of you, so here I am. I don't know if you still visit dA or not, but I wanted to leave a message just the same.

I lost Bark (Ron Ray) on March, 24, 2015 to lung cancer.

He and I always thought of Brian.

Thanks for the :+fav: on "Duality."
Thank you for the :+fav:s! The Green Tara was inspired by Brian, and I still think of him whenever I look at that drawing.
I remember very clearly when Brian broke his foot, he learned about Green Tara and really focused on working with her for healing; I've never heard of anyone recovering as quickly from a broken foot as he did during that time. Your Buddhist drawings (etc.) are so beautiful and inspiring...thank you so much!!!
You're welcome, and thanks for sharing that story!
